The 3-day travel show conference program is designed specifically for you. It offers comprehensive education and training to enrich your career and increase your sales. By attending THETRADESHOW, you will gain the essential knowledge and expertise to make your travel business more profitable.

The Travel Institute will award 10 CEUs for the entire THETRADESHOW, each session is worth 1 CEU, up to a maximum of 10 CEUs, repeat sessions count as 1 CEU.

  • Purpose: To help Int''l travel companies get the most value out of TTS by providing a preview of educational seminars and networking events of interest to Int''l attendees and by providing a forum for introductions and networking to start the conference.
    Agenda:
    Welcome - Robert Durant, ASTA ICPC Chair
    Getting the most out of TTS - Highlight of educational seminars and networking events of interest to international travel companies.
    Introductions - Participants will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their companies.
    Discussion - Issues relevant to international travel firms, submitted by participants.
    Networking - Come prepared with business cards and other promotional material to share during the networking time.

    This panel will be moderated by Arnie Weissmann from Travel Weekly. Panelists include Jim Mazza from Travelsavers, Mike Estill from WESTA, Steve Tracas from Vacation.com and Roger Block from Travel Leaders.
    2009 has been a very difficult year for most agents. What lessons have been learned that will make agents stronger going forward? Has the basic relationship between agents and preferred suppliers changed in any significant way? In what areas will there never be a return to “business as usual”?
