Alexandria, Va., May 17, 2006 – THETRADESHOW (Travel Retailing and Destination Expo) is pleased to announce Performance Media Group, LLC, including Agent@Home, Cruise & Vacation Agent and Modern Agent, has signed as media sponsor and Travel Trade, Travel Weekly, eturboNews, JaxFax, Recommend, Canadian Travel Press and TravelAge West as media partners. All media publications are working alongside THETRADESHOW partners to let the industry know about this highly anticipated event.

THETRADESHOW will take place the second week of September every year and will be held in Orlando (Sept. 10-12 2006) in even years and Las Vegas (Sept. 9-11, 2007) in odd years. Travel sellers will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with suppliers and to learn in-depth about their products. The three-day, industry-wide event will have two travel industry-only days and will feature a day of one-on-one business appointments. Additionally, one day will be designated for consumers, where both travel sellers and suppliers will have the opportunity to educate the consumer on their businesses and the best way to choose and organize their travel arrangements.
