THETRADESHOW Attendees: See Some of Vegas’ Hottest Acts

Alexandria, Va., June 11, 2009- Travel agents who register early to attend THETRADESHOW in Las Vegas (Sept. 13-15, 2009) will have the chance to see some of the hottest shows on The Strip.

“These shows are some of the hottest acts in town. Not only will attendees have a chance to experience the fun and glamour for themselves, but seeing them gives travel agents a great first-hand perspective to share with their clients once they return home,” said Ed Fioravante, sales executive, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

While tickets last, travel agents can opt to receive a complimentary ticket to see one of the following shows on Tuesday, Sept. 15, when they register to attend this year’s THETRADESHOW:

Bally’s Las Vegas:

• Jubilee! (7:30pm or 10:30pm). You can’t leave Las Vegas without seeing the most famous of all stage spectaculars Donn Arden’s Jubilee! at Bally’s Las Vegas. The longest running multi-million dollar stage spectacular features a cast of 85, including the most beautiful classic Las Vegas Showgirls, all adorned in thousands of sequins. Jubilee! epitomizes the glamour of vintage Las Vegas all in one unbelievable show for an experience that is totally unforgettable and totally Vegas.
• The Price is Right (2:30pm). This is a live stage version of The Price Is Right TV show, the award-winning, longest-running game show in television history. With all the fun and excitement of the TV show, this stage version features popular games, including The Big Wheel, Cliff Hangers, Hole in One, and Plinko, plus a chance to bid on the fabulous Showcase in the finale.

Tropicana Hotel & Casino

• The Sopranos Last Supper (7:00pm). An interactive spoof of the award winning series. Audience members join Tony and the "family" for an evening of interactive fun, great singing and enough mob mayhem to create a night’s experience.

Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino

• Blue Man Group (7:00pm or 10:00pm). The Blue Man Group’s critically acclaimed show has been called “visually stunning,” “wildly inventive,” and “hysterically funny.” Although it is almost impossible to describe, people of all ages agree that it is an intensely exciting and wildly outrageous experience.
• Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular (7:00pm). The #1 rated show on the Strip is now in its third year at The Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino. From the moment you enter the magnificent custom-built theater, theater-goers are immersed in the storied Paris Opera House and become part of The Phantom''s world. Featuring every beloved song from the original, spectacular sets, new effects, and a breathtaking chandelier experience, Phantom is an only-in-Vegas experience. 

Town Square, Las Vegas (across from Yard House restaurant)

• Shear Madness (7:00pm). Shear Madness is the hilarious whodunit that engages guests as armchair detectives to help solve the scissor-stabbing murder of a famed concert pianist who lives above the Shear Madness hair salon. The show combines up-to-the-minute improvisational humor and a mixture of audience sleuthing to deliver a truly unique performance each night.

V Theatre

• V - The Ultimate Variety Show. (7:00pm 8:30pm). Voted “Best show in Vegas!” V has something for everyone. Comedy, magic, aerial acrobatics, dancing and some of the wildest modern-day Vaudeville acts you will ever see. V is the Ultimate Variety Show.
• Fab Four Live. (5:30pm). Starting with the rock & roll British invasion, Fab Four Live performs music from the early ''60s albums, including Revolver and Rubber Soul. It''s as if George, Paul, John and Ringo are back in Vegas. Fab Four Live appeals to every Beatles fan and even creates new ones.  
• Mesmerized. (10:00pm). An energetic mix of comedy, hypnosis and chaos. Come to watch hilarious audience volunteers live onstage as the number one hypnotist in the world, Marc Savard, whips the crowd into a frenzy. 
• The Mentalist - Live.  (7:30pm). Star of television’s hit show The Mentalist Gerry McCambridge performs comedy, magic and mindreading live on stage. Nominated “Best Magician in Las Vegas” and voted “World’s Best Entertainer” in his field, Gerry thrills audiences with incredible mentalism skills, and his ability to get inside the minds of others has garnered worldwide attention. 
• Sin City Comedy Show. (9:00pm. Ages 18+). Beautiful girls and famous comedians take the stage when this hilarious show combines sexy burlesque with world-class stand up comedy in a choreographed production of music and fun. A rotating lineup of nationally known comics perform each night, with stars of Comedy Central, Letterman, The Tonight Show, VH1, HBO, and from famous comedy clubs around the country.
