July 30, 2007 - The Travel Institute Seminars

Alexandria, Va., July 30, 2007 – THETRADESHOW partners recently announced track seminars at THETRADESHOW, courtesy of The Travel Institute. The Career Development Track series includes three seminars: Sharpening Your Edge: Reinventing Yourself as a Seller of Luxury Travel, Profiting From Travel Agency Financial Benchmarks and Using Blogs and Web Sites to Attract New Clients. THETRADESHOW attendees are encouraged to take part in these seminars and learn how to expand their overall knowledge and increase sales.

“In keeping with the Development Track theme, agents will also have the opportunity to complete their Destination Specialist or Lifestyle Specialist course, by testing at THETRADESHOW,” according to Travel Institute conference manager, Diane Petras, CTC.

There will be no additional charge for agents whose testing fee was included when they initially enrolled in the course through the Travel Institute. Agents who earn a Destination or Lifestyle Specialist designation are able to meet their clients’ needs more readily, as well as increase their overall per sale earnings.

Agents who are not already enrolled in the course are still welcome to pay the $39 test-only fee and put their knowledge to the test. There is no limit to how many tests an individual can take. The testing lab will be located in room N241 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. This is an excellent chance for any agent attending THETRADESHOW to earn recognized industry credentials.

The seminar schedule is as follows:

Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007
